Electoral General Assembly and Congress of the International Sport For All Federation

The International Sport for All Federation (FISpT) convened its Electoral General Assembly and Congress on 24th of January 2026 in Civitanova Marche, Italy, bringing together representatives from across the global Sport for All movement.
During the Assembly, delegates approved a new Statutes designed to further align the Federation with the principles of the Olympic Movement. The revised statutes reinforce the Federation’s commitment to good governance, transparency, accountability, and ethical leadership, strengthening its role within the international sports community.

According to the new Statutes the organisation - recognised by the International Olympic Committee - is governed by the Italian Law and its registered office is in Rome, Italy. According to the new statute, the new legal representative is the CEO, Marco Tomasini (ITA).

The Assembly also elected the new Executive Board for the upcoming mandate. The members of the newly elected Executive Board are as follows:

Following the Electoral GA, wide range of topics were addressed at the Congress by experts representing different stakeholders (International Federations, National Sports for All organisations and other Associations) from the Olympic and wider Sport for All movement as follows:

The newly constituted Executive Board held its first official meeting on 25th of January 2026. This inaugural meeting focused on establishing the Federation’s key priorities, strategic direction, and working framework for the new term, ensuring continuity while advancing innovation and impact within the global Sport for All agenda.
FISpT’s general assembly can be represented in numbers with the following metrics:

The outcomes of the General Assembly and Congress mark an important step forward for the International Sport for All Federation, reaffirming its mission to promote inclusive, accessible, and sustainable physical activity and sport worldwide.

The re-elected President, Isa Mohamed Abdulrahim Mohamed Alrafaei (BRN) stated: “I am honoured to continue to serve as President of the International Sport for All Federation and I hope that the new leadership will help FISpT to grow stronger and faster to be one of the main leaders in the Sport for All environment”.

The newly elected General Secretary, Marco Tomasini (ITA) added: “It is an amazing opportunity for me to work with such amazing people in the Board. The presence of various IOC stakeholders and sport managers coming from different part of the world, with different experience will be the most important opportunity for FISpT to grow and become a leader in the Sport for All.”
