International Olympic Committee

In June 1995, during the 104th IOC Session held in Budapest (June 15–18), FISpT was granted full and definitive recognition by the IOC. This was officially confirmed by a letter dated June 15, 1995, signed by IOC President Juan Antonio Samaranch.

Sport for Refugees Coalition

Established around the first Global Refugee Forum in 2019 and co-convened by UNHCR - the UN Refugee Agency, the Olympic Refuge Foundation (ORF) and the Scort Foundation, the Sport for Refugees Coalition brings together more than 130 entities from the world of sport, civil society, public and private sectors to extend access to sport to refugees and other displaced people around the world.

HEPA Europe

HEPA Europe (the European Network for the promotion of Health-Enhancing Physical Activity) is a World Health Organization (WHO) network dedicated to improving health and well-being across the WHO European Region by promoting regular physical activity. The network unites researchers, practitioners, and policymakers to combat sedentary lifestyles and noncommunicable diseases (NCDs) through comprehensive, multisectoral strategies.

Sports for Nature

Sports for Nature is a joint initiative of the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN), International Olympic Committee (IOC), United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP), the Secretariat of the Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD) and Dona Bertarelli Philanthropy.

It aims to deliver transformative action for nature across sports, by 2030 and beyond, enabling sports to champion nature and contribute to its protection and restoration. It provides a game plan for sports — at all levels — to accelerate and inspire others to take action for nature.
