The International Sport for All Federation (FISpT) is proud to announce two major institutional milestones that significantly enhance its capacity to operate within the European and international sports governance landscape. The Federation has successfully obtained its Participant Identification Code (PIC) and has been officially registered in the Transparency Register of the European Commission.

These achievements represent a critical step forward in FISpT’s commitment to transparency, accountability, and good governance, while opening new pathways for participation in European Union programmes and multi-stakeholder cooperation initiatives.

Access to Erasmus+ and European Funding Programmes

FISpT has been assigned the Participant Identification Code (PIC): 864052430, which enables the Federation to apply for and participate in Erasmus+ and other European Commission-funded programmes.

Erasmus+ is the European Union’s flagship programme supporting education, training, youth, and sport. Within the sport sector, Erasmus+ provides funding opportunities for projects that:

  • Promote grassroots sport and physical activity across all age groups

  • Encourage social inclusion, equal opportunities, and diversity through sport

  • Support good governance, integrity, and transparency in sport organizations

  • Foster cross-border cooperation and partnerships among institutions

  • Develop innovative practices and knowledge-sharing within the sport ecosystem

Through access to Erasmus+ funding, FISpT will be able to strengthen its role as a facilitator of “Sport for All” initiatives, expand its international partnerships, and contribute to the development of inclusive and accessible sport programmes aligned with European priorities.

Registration in the European Commission Transparency Register

In parallel, FISpT has been officially registered in the Transparency Register of the European Union under registration number: 1592589103775-45.

The Transparency Register is a central database managed by the European Commission and the European Parliament. It is designed to provide citizens with clear and open information about organizations engaged in EU policy-making, advocacy, and institutional interaction. Registration requires organizations to disclose key information, including:

  • Organizational structure and governance

  • Objectives and policy interests

  • Financial data and sources of funding

  • Activities related to EU institutions

Being listed in the Transparency Register is not only a prerequisite for certain forms of engagement with EU institutions, but also a recognized mark of credibility, accountability, and openness.

A Commitment to Transparency and Good Governance

For FISpT, transparency is not merely a formal requirement but a foundational principle. The Federation considers this registration as a first concrete step toward building a modern governance framework that reflects the highest international standards.

In this context, FISpT is actively working towards the development of a governance model inspired by the International Partnership Against Corruption in Sport (IPACS). This model emphasizes:

  • Integrity and ethical conduct in all activities

  • Transparent decision-making processes

  • Accountability towards stakeholders and the public

  • Prevention of corruption and conflicts of interest

  • Inclusive and participatory governance structures

By aligning with IPACS principles, FISpT aims to position itself as a forward-looking organization capable of contributing to the global dialogue on integrity in sport.

Looking Ahead

These two achievements mark the beginning of a broader strategic pathway for the International Sport for All Federation. With access to European funding instruments and formal recognition within EU transparency mechanisms, FISpT is now better equipped to:

  • Develop impactful international projects

  • Build strategic alliances across Europe and beyond

  • Promote sport as a tool for social development, health, and inclusion

  • Strengthen its institutional credibility within the global sports community

FISpT reaffirms its commitment to fostering a culture of openness, cooperation, and innovation, ensuring that sport remains accessible to all and governed according to the highest standards.
