The International Sport for All Federation (FISpT) is proud to announce the membership of the International Federation of Muaythai Associations (IFMA) as a Committee Member within its organisational structure. This recognition of such an important stakeholder reflects FISpT’s continued commitment to strengthening cooperation with international federations that actively promote accessible, inclusive, and lifelong participation in sport.

IFMA, recognised by the International Olympic Committee as the sole International Federation for Muaythai, has presented a strong and comprehensive Sport for All programme focused on grassroots participation, youth and educational pathways, school sport, women’s empowerment, masters participation, para and inclusive sport, cultural education, and community engagement. With more than 150 National Federations, IFMA brings a truly global network and a long-standing commitment to making physical activity available to people of all ages, abilities, and backgrounds.

The collaboration will support the development of Sport for All initiatives through educational activities, community-based programmes, mass participation events, and inclusive sporting opportunities that connect sport, culture, and wellbeing. As with previous FISpT committee membership announcements, this partnership reflects the Federation’s mission to unite organisations that can contribute meaningfully to the growth of accessible sport worldwide.

“FISpT is delighted to welcome IFMA as a Committee Member. Muaythai is a sport with a strong cultural identity, a worldwide presence, and a clear commitment to inclusion, education, and participation for all. IFMA’s work in schools, grassroots communities, women’s sport, masters categories, and para and inclusive formats is fully aligned with the values of Sport for All, and we are pleased to begin this journey together,” said Marco Tomasini, CEO of FISpT.

“This membership strengthens our network and creates new opportunities for cooperation in programmes that promote health, social inclusion, cultural heritage, and lifelong participation. We look forward to working with IFMA to expand the reach and impact of Sport for All around the world,” he added.

Through this Committee Membership, FISpT and IFMA will explore joint initiatives aimed at broadening access to sport, encouraging active lifestyles, and supporting communities through inclusive and educational sporting experiences.

“IFMA is honoured to join the International Sport for All Federation as a Committee Member and to contribute to a global movement that places accessibility, inclusion, and lifelong participation at the heart of sport.

Muaythai, as both a sport and cultural heritage, offers a unique platform to engage communities across all ages and abilities. Through our global network, we remain committed to developing programmes that promote health, education, respect, and opportunity for all.We look forward to working closely with FISpT and its members to further strengthen the Sport for All movement worldwide.”
