Webinar #5: SPORT BEYOND COMPETITION
Building Peace, Inclusion and Opportunity Through Sport
12 June 2026 4:00 PM – 5:30 PM Bangkok Time (GMT+7)

Sport is far more than competition. It is a universal language that transcends borders, cultures, and backgrounds. It has the power to unite communities, inspire hope, create opportunities, and build pathways toward a more peaceful and inclusive society.
This special webinar brings together the global initiatives Sport Is Your Gang and United Through Sports to explore how sport is being used as a powerful tool for social development, youth empowerment, crime prevention, and peacebuilding across the world.
We are honoured to welcome Mr Stephan Fox, President of United Through Sports and President of AIMS, who will share valuable insights and real-world experiences from decades of leadership within the Olympic Movement, international sport federations, governments, educational institutions, and grassroots communities.
Drawing on successful programmes implemented across all continents, Mr Fox will demonstrate how sport can help prevent violence, strengthen resilience, foster belonging, empower young people, and create opportunities where they are needed most.
As part of the Sport and Youth Crime Prevention Initiative in Southeast Asia, this webinar will highlight how sport can become a catalyst for positive social change and contribute to safer, stronger, and more inclusive communities.
