The International Sport for All Federation joined the Sport for Refugees Coalition.

Sport for Refugees Coalition was launched in 2019 by the Olympic Refuge Foundation, the IOC, and the UNHCR. Today, the Coalition has over 170 members. These include governments, refugee-led groups, National Olympic Committees, International Sports Federations, clubs, academia, private sector and civil society organisations. By working together, we want to make a lasting, positive difference for and with people impacted by crises, and communities who welcome them.

📣 We are supporting the Sport Pledge!

Ahead of the Global Refugee Forum, due to take place in Geneva from 13 to 15 December, FISpT has made a commitment to the Multistakeholder Pledge on Sport for Inclusion and Protection of Refugees.

🤝 Our commitment:

In support of the objective to provide opportunities for enhanced skills and pathways in and through sport, FISpT (International Sport for All Federation) commits to launching specific initiative for inclusion, with the support of Ukrainian Sports for All Federation, Agency for mass sports of Ukraine and UAactive. We will facilitate comprehensive training programs for sports leaders and community coaches across our member, equipping them with the technical expertise to design and manage inclusive sport-for-all projects specifically tailored for refugee populations, internally displaced people and their host communities. Through this initiative, we will provide ongoing technical support and knowledge-sharing platforms to ensure these local leaders can effectively leverage sport as a tool for social cohesion, integration, and personal development.
