FIGeST is the Italian Traditional Sports and Games Federation and it is recongised as the Official Governing Body for Italy for traditional Sports and Games by the Italian National Olympic Committee (CONI) and by the Italian Paralympic Committee (CIP).
International Sport for All Federation is an official organization recognized by the IOC (International Olympic Committee) developing sport for all with the national members. The aim of the Federation Internationale du Sport pour Tous, International Sport for All Federation, is to promote “Sport for All” and to establish contact between the organizations and persons concerned. The federation is apolitical, a religious and no for profit making. It is the ambition of Federation Internationale du Sport pour Tous, International Sport for All Federation to be an action oriented and a consultative organization, encouraging international exchanges in “Sport for All” as a factor of self-fulfillment and a means of bringing people and nations together in mutual understanding.
FISpT and FIGeST signed an important MOU, Memorandum of Understanding, in order to create and to establish an International Traditional sports and games committee, totally independent, recognized by the FISpT as the Official FISpT body for the traditional sports and games.
Enzo Casadidio, President of FIGeST, Board Member of the Italian National Olympic Committee, will be the head of the committee and will start soon to work on the development of this important and amazing project.
Thanks to the agreement signed in Amman, Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, the New Committee is the official body of FISpT taking care of the festivals, activities, education and developments of Traditional Sports and Games!
